Description

As a Locum MD/DO, you will be involved in providing high-quality surgical care, working alongside experienced professionals, and contributing to the overall health and well-being of patients. This role is essential in ensuring that our healthcare partners receive the support they need to maintain their standards of care. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments
• Perform surgical procedures as required
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in patient care planning and follow-up
• Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Stay informed on advancements in surgical practices and techniques

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current medical license in good standing
• Basic understanding of general surgical procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts

Patient Volume: 31 per shift

General surgery call coverage

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
