Description
As a Hospitalist, you will play a crucial role in managing patient care and working closely with nursing staff and specialists to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment
- Participate in hospital rounds and case discussions
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Adhere to hospital policies and quality standards
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in internal medicine or hospitalist settings
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Basic proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: 7a-7p, 7 on/7 off
Patient Census: 14-15 per day
Open ICU with 24/7 critical care support
Will not be required to respond to codes
No procedures required
Full subspecialty support, including oncology, tele-stroke, and cardiology
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
