In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive medical services to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team. • Provide high-quality care to patients in a hospital setting
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Participate in patient rounds and provide updates to the medical team
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical care situations
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options
• Adhere to all hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Tennessee
• Previous experience in hospital medicine or internal medicine
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in managing diverse patient populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement

Schedule: 7a-7p

Duties: Admissions and cross-cover

Daily Volume: 6-8 admissions, 6-8 new patient encounters

No procedures required

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
