Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hospitalist specializing in Internal Medicine . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining the smooth operation of healthcare institutions. As a Locum Hospitalist, you will be involved in a variety of medical projects, contributing to the well-being of patients and the overall healthcare system.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients.
• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients' conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Monitor and manage patient progress and response to treatment.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to all relevant medical standards, regulations, and protocols.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Valid medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to different work settings and schedules.

Schedule: 7a-7p

Patient Census: 14 per day

Small ICU

Procedures, codes, and rapid response required

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
