We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hospitalist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality medical care to patients in a hospital setting in Florence. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, ensuring the well-being of all patients under your care.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and evaluations of patients.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients based on their medical conditions.
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Monitor and manage patients in critical condition in the hospital setting.
- Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans accurately.
- Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and departmental meetings.
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, guidelines, and quality standards.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatments.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or relevant specialty.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florence.
- Proven experience working as a Hospitalist or in a similar role.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Schedule: 8a-8p or 1p-1a
Daily Census: 15-20
No procedures required
Will respond to codes
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
