In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients in Newnan. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of various oncology projects.
As a Locum MD or DO in Medical Oncology, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a significant impact on patient outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer chemotherapy treatments and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in tumor board meetings and contribute expertise to treatment planning discussions.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and side effects.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in oncology treatments and technologies.
- Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology.
- Valid state medical license in Newnan.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to different clinical settings and patient populations.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 3-4 weekdays per week
No call requirement
Patient Volume: 16 per day

Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
