Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough neurological assessments and evaluations
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of neurological disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions and treatments
  • Stay current with advancements in neurology and healthcare best practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care meetings

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Board certification in Neurology is preferred
  • Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on neurology
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and clinical situations
  • Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida

Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off

Setting: Inpatient

ED and med floor consults for strokes, seizures, EEG reads, and other neurological conditions

EMR: Patient Keeper and Meditech

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
