We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Neurology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients in Pensacola. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating patients with neurological disorders, ensuring the highest level of care and medical attention.
As a Locum MD or DO in Neurology, you will be involved in a variety of projects, including conducting patient consultations, performing diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct neurological examinations to diagnose patients' conditions accurately.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, CT scans, and EEGs.
- Prescribe medication and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of neurology.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Neurology.
- Valid state medical license to practice in Pensacola.
- Proven experience working as a Neurologist in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Rotating Schedule:
Week 1: Clinic
Week 2: Inpatient
Week 3: Clinic
Variable patient volumes
EEG reads required
Support Staff: APPs
Must be board-certified
