As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, performing various medical procedures, and supporting the overall health of our community. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct patient examinations and assessments
• Perform surgeries and medical procedures as required
• Manage prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff for optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Participate in on-call duties as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of California
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Board certification in Ob/Gyn is preferred

Schedule: 12 or 24-hour shifts

In-house call required

Annual Volume: 400 deliveries

Daily Volume: 16-18 patients

Will also cover outpatient OB triage

Support Staff: RN, MAs, APPs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
