This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential medical services within a dynamic staffing and recruiting environment.
As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare partners during staffing shortages. This position allows you to make a significant impact on the lives of women and families in the community while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct routine examinations, screenings, and preventive care
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in Ob/Gyn
- Participate in patient education and counseling initiatives
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current and valid medical license to practice in the state
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule: 24-hour call (7a-7a), specific dates
Annual Volume: ~15 c-sections, ~85 deliveries
Daily Volume: 0-5 inpatients
ED and labor & delivery coverage
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
