As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive women's health services, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care. This position not only allows you to enhance your clinical skills but also to contribute to the well-being of the community. 

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients in the Ob/Gyn department
• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnoses
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Perform necessary medical procedures and surgeries as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients about health and wellness topics
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency response as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Ob/Gyn
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Arizona
• Experience in a clinical Ob/Gyn setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and workloads

Schedule: 24-hour in-house call shifts

Level III Trauma

Setting: Inpatient, 24-bed L&D unit

Monthly Volume: ~300 deliveries

Daily Census: 8-10 deliveries, including 2-3 c-sections

Duties: Deliveries and other OB-related surgeries

Support Staff: MDs, CNMs, and MFM available

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
