As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible medical attention. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
  • Perform routine examinations and diagnose various conditions
  • Manage labor and delivery processes
  • Conduct surgical procedures as necessary
  • Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Participate in patient education and counseling
  • Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in Ob/Gyn

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active medical license to practice in the state of Colorado
  • Prior experience in a clinical Ob/Gyn setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs

Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a

Setting: Inpatient

Patient Volume: 1 admission per day, 30 deliveries per month

8 beds

Cases: Obstetrics (including c-sections) and GYN emergencies

Support Staff: RN

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
