This contract, on-site position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to our healthcare staffing solutions while serving patients in need of exceptional obstetric and gynecological care.

In this role, you will work closely with a variety of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality medical care, ensure patient safety, and support women’s health initiatives. Your expertise will help address staffing needs in a fast-paced environment, making a significant impact on both the facility and the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
  • Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for various conditions
  • Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
  • Participate in patient education and counseling
  • Respond to medical emergencies as needed
  • Stay current with best practices and medical advancements in Ob/Gyn

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Active medical license in the state of Ohio
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting

Schedule: 12-hour call shifts

Level II Nursery, ~5 admissions per day

Annual Volume: 1,800+ births

30 beds

Cases: 70% low-risk OB, 10% high-risk OB

Delivery: 25% c-sections, 75% vaginal

Support Staff: Midwives, OB/GYN, APPs, full L&D staff

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
