In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering exceptional obstetric and gynecological care to our patients. As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that all patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. This position not only enhances your clinical skills but also allows you to make a significant impact on community health.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct routine check-ups, examinations, and screenings
• Manage pregnancy and childbirth processes
• Diagnose and treat a variety of gynecological conditions
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Educate patients on health and wellness topics
• Stay current with the latest medical practices and technologies

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Vermont
• Previous experience in obstetrics and gynecology is preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of relevant medical procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Flexibility to adapt to changing healthcare environments

Schedule: Monday-Friday in clinic, 8a-5p

OB and ER weekend beeper call rotation, 1:4

Annual Volume: 400 deliveries

Daily Volume: 12-16 clinic patients

No special procedures required

Support Staff: CNMs take first call

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
