In this role, you will provide essential medical care to patients, ensuring the highest standards of practice in obstetrics and gynecology. You'll work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and address the diverse needs of our patients. This position is perfect for an associate-level physician looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Perform routine examinations, screenings, and diagnostic tests
• Manage pregnancy-related care and deliver babies
• Consult with patients regarding reproductive health and family planning
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in on-call services as needed
• Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices in Ob/Gyn

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of California
• Associate-level experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred

Schedule: 12 or 24-hour shifts

In-house call required

Annual Volume: 400 deliveries

Daily Volume: 16-18 patients

Will also cover outpatient OB triage

Support Staff: RN, MAs, APPs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
