In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional obstetric and gynecological care while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of matching skilled medical professionals with facilities that require their talents. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
  • Conduct examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
  • Perform necessary procedures and interventions as required
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Stay current with medical best practices and guidelines
  • Participate in patient education and counseling
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Active medical license to practice in the state of employment
  • Associate level experience in Ob/Gyn
  • Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7a-7a

Callback Volume: Less than 5 per shift

Delivery Volume: 400 per year

Duties: Deliveries, consults, inpatient rounding, emergent surgeries, etc.

Must be willing to manage complications from elective abortions

Support Staff: 5 OBs, 6 APPs, MFMs, CNMs

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
