We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients, ensuring the highest level of patient care. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in different healthcare settings, making a significant impact on women's health outcomes.

As a Locum MD or DO in Ob/Gyn, your role is vital in filling temporary staffing needs, maintaining continuity of care, and supporting healthcare facilities during staff shortages. You will be involved in a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic projects, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, gynecological surgeries, and women's reproductive health services. Responsibilities:

  • Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to patients in various healthcare settings.
  • Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures as needed.
  • Conduct prenatal visits, assist in labor and delivery, and provide postpartum care.
  • Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions and disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and best practices in Ob/Gyn.
  • Participate in educational activities and training programs as required.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid medical license to practice as an MD or DO in the specified location.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Strong clinical skills in obstetric and gynecologic care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different work settings and schedules.

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, every other weekend

Setting: Inpatient

Monthly Volume: 20 deliveries

Annual Volume: 1,300 deliveries

Support Staff: Midwives

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
