We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Provide temporary medical services in Obstetrics and Gynecology to healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, examinations, and consultations.
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in continuous education and training to enhance medical knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Proven experience working as a Locum Tenens physician in Ob/Gyn.
  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to make sound medical decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and work independently.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and service.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 3-5 days per week

Call shifts available

Level II nursery

Daily Volume: 22-25 patients in clinic

Delivery Volume: 850 per year, 70-80 per month

Required Procedures: Colposcopies, biopsies, LEEP

Support Staff: MA, LPN, RNs, CNM, scrub tech, and ancillary staff

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
