We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Otolaryngology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating disorders related to the ear, nose, and throat, ensuring the well-being of patients. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from conducting examinations and surgeries to prescribing medications and advising on post-treatment care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions.
  • Perform surgical procedures to treat disorders such as tonsillitis, sinusitis, and hearing loss.
  • Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in Otolaryngology.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in healthcare practices.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Otolaryngology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a physician.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating ear, nose, and throat disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and quality medical services.

Schedule: 1 shift per week

Shift Breakdown: 4 hours in clinic + 4 hours of ED/inpatient consults

Required Procedures: Endoscopy and laryngoscopy in clinic 

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
