Description
As a Locum Pediatrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to children in various clinical settings. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive the attention and treatment they need, while also contributing to the overall efficiency of healthcare delivery in the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients
- Perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate patients and families about health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine
- Provide on-call support as necessary
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Associate-level experience in Pediatrics
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Schedule: 3 days per week
Call Requirement: 4 days per month
Setting: Outpatient, may cover shifts in both Illinois and Wisconsin
Duties: Acute visits, wellness visits, and follow-ups
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
