Description
In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to pediatric patients. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being and health of young patients, making a significant impact on their lives and the community. You will be involved in a variety of pediatric projects, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of pediatric patients and accurately diagnose their conditions.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for children with various medical needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare practices and treatment options.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records of all pediatric patients.
- Adhere to all medical protocols, standards, and regulations while delivering care.
- Participate in medical rounds, conferences, and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license to practice as a physician specializing in Pediatrics.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric medical conditions, treatments, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
- Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate care to pediatric patients.
- Willingness to adhere to ethical standards and patient confidentiality guidelines.

No call requirement
26-bed PICU
Patient Volume: 16 per day
Required Procedures: Standard ICU procedures and ECMO
Team Structure: 2 MDs during the day, 1 MD at night, APPs
Must be board-certified
