As a Locum MD or DO, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care, managing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services and support to individuals in need of rehabilitation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and goals
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
  • Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Stay updated on advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active medical license in the state of practice
  • Experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8a-4p

Shifts switch between the clinic and the surgery center

Patient Volume: 25 per day

Cases: Sports orthopedics, pain management, and medical rehab

50% orthopedics, 50% pain management

Required Injections: Joint, blocks, epidural, facet, fluoro-guided, and electrical stimulation

Support Staff: MAs, PT, and OT

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
