Rinvio Recruitment is actively seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiation Oncology  This contract position is on-site, providing an exciting opportunity for medical professionals to contribute their expertise in a critical healthcare setting.
As a Locum Radiation Oncologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be essential in managing treatment plans and providing support to patients undergoing radiation therapy. Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients requiring radiation oncology services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in case discussions and treatment planning meetings
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Stay updated on advancements in radiation oncology techniques and practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology
- Strong knowledge of radiation treatment protocols and patient management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Active medical license in the state of practice
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
No call required
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Census: 15-20 per day
Procedures: SBRT, IMRT, 3D radiation treatment; no brachytherapy
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
