We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology  In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients, ensuring the highest level of patient care and diagnostic accuracy. You will be involved in a variety of radiology projects, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare staffing solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of patient treatment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of radiology findings.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality assurance standards in radiology procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to radiology technologists and other staff members.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of radiology.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Radiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting a wide range of radiology studies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize patient care.
  • Proficiency in using radiology equipment and imaging software.

Schedule: 8a-4p

Call Requirement: Weeknights (4p-8a) and weekends (24-hour)

Daily Volume: 10-15 procedures

General IR procedures required

Stroke capabilities preferred

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
