Responsibilities:

  • Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare providers to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and quality of radiology reports and patient records.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure risks.
  • Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and results in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • Staying current with advancements in radiological technology and practices.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
  • Providing guidance and supervision to radiology technicians and support staff.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Radiology or eligible for certification.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting a variety of radiological imaging studies.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and service.
  • Shift Information: Swing, 11:00a-8:00p

Schedule: Monday-Friday

No holiday or weekend coverage

Read all emergent cases for ED, IP, and then help with OP cases

Average Daily Volume: 60-80

EMR: Meditech

PACS: Fuji Synapse

Dictation: RadAI

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
