As a Locum Rheumatologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care while addressing a range of rheumatological conditions. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans and support for patients. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient evaluations and comprehensive treatment for rheumatological conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
  • Conduct follow-up appointments and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in rheumatology
  • Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to clinical discussions

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active medical license to practice in the state
  • Experience in rheumatology, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-hour shifts), 2 weeks per month

No call requirement

Patient Volume: 18-20 per day

Patient Population: Adults

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
