Description
As a Locum Rheumatologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care while addressing a range of rheumatological conditions. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans and support for patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient evaluations and comprehensive treatment for rheumatological conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Conduct follow-up appointments and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in rheumatology
- Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to clinical discussions
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in rheumatology, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-hour shifts), 2 weeks per month
No call requirement
Patient Volume: 18-20 per day
Patient Population: Adults
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
