Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in patient education and counseling
- Stay updated on the latest medical practices and technologies
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Associate-level experience in Ob/Gyn
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Colorado
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in obstetrics and gynecology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Willingness to adapt to varying work schedules and patient needs
Schedule: 12 or 24-hour in-house shifts
No call requirement
Setting: Inpatient, Level II Trauma
Daily Volume: 1-2 patients
Annual Volume: 1,400 deliveries
Cases and Procedures: High-risk OB, OB trauma in the ED, c-sections, D&Cs, ovarian torsions, etc.
Anesthesia, neonatal and perinatal support
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
