In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing breast surgery, collaborating closely with a team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting surgical procedures. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
• Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care for breast surgery patients
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to plan and implement care
• Educate patients about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
• Document patient information and treatment plans accurately
• Monitor and manage patient progress and report changes
• Participate in surgical procedures as needed
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Requirements

• Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
• Experience in surgical settings, preferably in breast surgery
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Basic life support (BLS) certification
• Advanced practice certification in relevant specialties is a plus
