In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cardiology services, collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions, providing patient education, and implementing treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiology-related conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to provide holistic care
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health and disease prevention
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Manage patient follow-ups and monitor progress
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
- Stay updated on advancements in cardiology and best practices in patient care
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field
- Current NP or PA certification with a specialization in Cardiology
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in cardiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Proficiency in patient assessment and management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: 3 night shifts per week
Shift Information: 5p-6a
Setting: Inpatient
Daily Patient Volume: 30-40 with 8-12 consults
Duties: Primarily floor and ER consult coverage, with some ICU care and STEMI call coverage
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
