Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for cardiology patients
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure quality care
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and treatment options
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Provide emergency care as needed and respond to patient inquiries
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Current NP or PA certification in Cardiology
- Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of current cardiology best practices and protocols
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
Patient Volume: 25 per shift
Will see clinic patients, round on inpatients, and serve as first assist in the CVOR
Support Staff: CT surgeon
EMR: eCW
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
