. This on-site, contract position presents a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality emergency medical care. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient operation of our emergency department, managing a diverse array of patient cases and ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and treatments for patients in emergency situations
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
  • Administer medications and treatments as necessary
  • Educate patients and families on health management and prevention
  • Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist in procedures and surgeries as required
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
  • Experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred

Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts

Shifts available at multiple facilities

Annual Volume: 85k patients at one ED, 15k patients other ED

Must be board-certified
