As a Locum NP or PA in Emergency Medicine, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients in various emergency situations. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients in emergency settings
- Administer treatments and procedures within the scope of practice
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary
- Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly
- Provide support and education to patients and their families
- Participate in continuous education and professional development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with established protocols and legal regulations
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
- Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice
- Experience in an emergency medicine setting is preferred
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Level III Trauma Center
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
No call required
Annual Volume: 65k+
Daily Volume: 160 patients
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
