You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes while managing diverse medical cases. Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients in emergency situations
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop treatment plans
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding health conditions
• Respond to medical emergencies with urgency and professionalism
• Stay updated on best practices and protocols in emergency medicine
• Participate in continuing education and training opportunities

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Previous experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical software and electronic health records
• Current CPR and BLS certifications

Schedule: 7a-7p, 2p-10p, or 7p-7a

No call requirement

Level III Trauma

Setting: Hospital and free-standing ED

Annual Volume: ~40,000 patients total

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
