We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Psychiatryt. Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness.
• Provide therapy and counseling to patients as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Stay current on advancements in psychiatric care and treatment modalities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.

Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with specialization in Psychiatry.
• Proven experience working in a psychiatric setting.
• Excellent knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Patient Volume: Up to 10 per shift

Support Staff: Psychiatrists, social workers, RNs

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
