. This on-site, contract position is ideal for a Mid-Senior level practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing quality healthcare services to our community.

As a Locum NP in Urgent Care, you will play a crucial role in delivering immediate care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients efficiently. 

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in an urgent care setting
• Diagnose and treat a range of acute and chronic health issues
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Provide patient education and counseling on health management
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Participate in continuous professional development and training

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
• 3-5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in urgent care
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are preferred

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8a-6p

No call requirement

Patient Volume: 20-40 per day

Patient Population: All ages

Must be able to work independently

1 procedure room, 1 pediatric room, 2 isolation rooms, and 2 exam rooms

Support Staff: RNs and CMAs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
