As a Locum NP/PA, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality cardiac care while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patient satisfaction and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will directly impact patient care, and you will be involved in various clinical activities that contribute to the overall success of our healthcare partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and preventive measures
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Provide follow-up care and monitor treatment effectiveness
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing or a related field
• Current NP or PA license in the state of practice
• Basic understanding of cardiology and related medical practices
• Excellent patient assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred
• Basic knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

No call or weekend requirement

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Patient Census: 25 per day

Responsibilities: Pre and post-procedure care with follow-up responsibilities

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
