Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments and treatments for critically ill patients
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Perform necessary procedures and interventions as needed
• Educate patients and their families about critical care processes
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care support as required

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or related field (NP) or Physician Assistant program (PA)
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Experience in critical care or similar healthcare settings
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred

Schedule: 7p-7a

Setting: 20-bed ICU

Patient Volume: 2 admissions per night

Required Procedures: Central line placements and intubations

Support Staff: Attending physician on-call, full ancillary support

Must be board-certified
