Description
As a Locum NP or PA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a staffing and recruiting capacity. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that our healthcare partners receive the support they need to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement critical care treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions
- Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Stay current with advancements in critical care practices and guidelines
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Tennessee
- Previous experience in a critical care setting is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Setting: ICU
Daily Census: 12 patients
Required Procedures: Intubations, central line placements, arterial line placements
Support Staff: MD on call, APPs
Board certification required
