This contract position is on-site, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a critical care environment while working with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in critical condition, collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in managing patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support in a fast-paced and demanding setting.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments in a critical care setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and respond to changes
- Educate patients and families on critical care processes
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Assist in performing procedures and managing complex cases
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license
- Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field
- Experience in critical care or similar settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Patient Volume: 6-10 per day
Required Procedures: Central and arterial lines, intubations, and chest tubes
Support Staff: MD and APP
Must be board-certified
