Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients
• Perform necessary procedures within the scope of practice
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in rounds and case discussions with the medical team
• Stay updated on best practices and current medical guidelines

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Active NP or PA license in the state of Texas
• Experience in critical care settings is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 1 week at a time

Patient Census: 10-13 per day

ICU procedures required

EMR: Epic

Board certification required
