This on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals, contributing to the management of critically ill patients and ensuring that they receive comprehensive care. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting the team in achieving optimal patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a critical care setting
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and manage patient responses to interventions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Educate patients and families regarding health management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with best practices in critical care and pulmonology

Requirements

  • Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice
  • Associate degree or higher in nursing or related field
  • Experience in critical care or pulmonology preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Schedule: 6p-7a, Monday-Sunday

No call shifts

Inpatient setting

Daily Census: 9-12 patients, 2-3 admissions

Procedures: Central venous cannulation, arterial cannulation, A-lines, CVLS

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & lodging
