As a Locum NP in our Pulmonology and Critical Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in critical condition. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring the best outcomes for patients. This role is essential in helping our clients maintain quality care during staffing fluctuations in the industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in critical care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care coordination
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures for patient care

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
  • Previous experience in critical care or pulmonology preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of relevant medical software and technology
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

Schedule: 6p-7a

Daily Volume: 9-12 patients, 2-3 admissions

Setting: Adult ICU

Skills Required: Ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex medical decision-making

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
