Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial patient assessments and examinations in emergency situations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical protocols.
  • Perform medical procedures and interventions as required.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide patient education on conditions, treatments, and preventive healthcare.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in healthcare delivery.

Requirements:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician's Assistant (PA) license.
  • Specialization or certification in Emergency Medicine.
  • Previous experience working in emergency care settings.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

No call requirement

Daily Census: 25 patients

Annual Volume: 13,000 patients

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
