In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced neonatology setting. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of newborns and their health conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to create treatment plans
- Administer medications and perform necessary procedures
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments as needed
- Educate families on infant care and health management
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to care strategies
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license
- Strong interest in neonatology and pediatric care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus, but not required
Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts
Setting: Level II NICU, 8 beds
Daily Volume: 3-8 patients
Support Staff: MD, nursing RT
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
