Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of newborns and their health conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to create treatment plans
  • Administer medications and perform necessary procedures
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments as needed
  • Educate families on infant care and health management
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to care strategies
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards

Requirements

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license
  • Strong interest in neonatology and pediatric care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus, but not required

Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts

Setting: Level II NICU, 8 beds

Daily Volume: 3-8 patients

Support Staff: MD, nursing RT

Must be board-certified
