Responsibilities:

  • Conducting physical assessments of newborns in the neonatal unit.
  • Developing and implementing care plans for premature infants.
  • Monitoring and managing the health status of neonatal patients.
  • Collaborating with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Providing education and support to families of newborns.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Documenting patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings.

Requirements:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician's Assistant (PA) license.
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • Previous experience in neonatal care is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and schedules.

Level III NICU

Schedule: Friday-Monday, 3p-7a

Duties: Intubations, central line placement, peripheral arterial lines, attend high-risk deliveries, and ground and air transports

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
