In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering comprehensive patient care, conducting examinations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans tailored to women's health. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of connecting skilled healthcare professionals with facilities that need them, ensuring that every patient receives the care they deserve.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an Ob/Gyn setting
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of women's health issues
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care
  • Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with best practices in women's health and reproductive medicine

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant
  • Associate degree in a relevant field; Bachelor's preferred
  • Previous experience in an Ob/Gyn practice or similar setting
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of women's health issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Active state license to practice as an NP or PA
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Weeknight and 24-hour weekend call 1 week per month

Duties: IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal, prenatal care, natural and emergency deliveries with on-call physician, postpartum care and patient education, routine reproductive healthcare, birth control counseling and contraceptive management, and full-scope women’s health services

Will assist with c-sections

Support Staff: MAs, RNs

EMR: Meditech, Centricity, and eClinical

Must be board-certified
