We are currently seeking a skilled Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician's Assistant) . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing urgent care services to patients, ensuring they receive high-quality medical attention promptly. You will be involved in a variety of urgent care projects, contributing to the well-being of individuals in need of immediate medical assistance. This position is vital to our organization's commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial patient assessments and examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans as necessary.
• Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, and splinting.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in healthcare.

Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician's Assistant (PA) license.
• Previous experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.

Shifts: Monday-Friday (8a-8p), Saturday (8a-7p), or Sunday (8a-5p)

EMR: Practice Velocity

Must be board-certified
