A prominent government contractor is seeking qualified General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation and Pension (C&P) examinations and Separation Health Assessments nationwide.

 

**Current Openings:**

- Providers are required to have their own office locations.

  1. Richfield, UT- 2 days per week needed

 

**Details:** - This role is on a PRN basis and ongoing.

- Providers have the option to work either half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).

- Responsibilities include performing one-time, non-treatment C&P examinations and separation health assessments.

- The examinations are primarily interview-based with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. 

- There will be no prescribing or treatment involved.

- Credentialing and onboarding will be expedited.

- Acceptable specialties include: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or any candidate with a background in general medicine or compensation and pension experience.

**Rate Structure:**

**Half-Day Rate:** $600 flat rate for shifts of 4 hours or fewer (this includes time to complete examinations and submit reports, including any addendums; there is no overtime).   - 

**Daily Rate:** $1200 flat rate for shifts of 5 hours or longer (this encompasses time to complete examinations and submit reports, including any addendums; there is no overtime).   - 

**Bonus:** A one-time bonus of $650 will be awarded for completing all required training and conducting the initial examinations.

Candidates must be local, as travel expenses are included in the stated rates.

Please be aware that ongoing administrative work will be required regularly, including addendums, medical opinions, and review of diagnostics. This work will not be compensated outside of the half-day or full-day rate.

The client does not provide reimbursement for DMA certifications or the portal training preceding the commencement of duties.

**Qualifications:**

- Proficiency in METs testing as well as evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. - Ownership of a laptop (Apple/Mac products are not permitted).

- Possession of an AANP certification.

- An active and unrestricted full medical license is required.

- Candidates must be willing to complete DMA training to attain DMA certification.

- The curriculum vitae submitted must include the current home address for presentation purposes.
