As a Locum PA in Emergency Medicine, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in emergency situations. You will work collaboratively with our medical staff to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring that they receive timely and effective medical attention. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories
• Provide immediate care for emergency medical conditions
• Assist in diagnostic procedures and interpret test results
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care
• Document patient care accurately in medical records
• Maintain compliance with medical protocols and regulations

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Physician Assistant studies or related field
• Current PA license and certification to practice in the state
• Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of medical protocols and emergency care procedures
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Schedule: 8a-4p, 8a-7p, 1p-10p, or 10a-10p

Shifts available at multiple facilities

Annual Volume: ~14k patients

Support Staff: MD, subspecialty teams

EMR: eCW
