**Open Dates for Coverage (24-hour call coverage)**
- October 2, 4, 5
**Patient Caseload:** - 90% are newborns - 5% are children (pediatric)
- 5% are teenagers (adolescents) - There might be medical students watching rounds with newborn patients.
**Average Daily Census:**
- Newborns: 3-4 per day
- Children: 0-1 every 2 months
**Important Note:**
- The provider must live or be able to stay within 30 minutes of the hospital.
**Emergency Temporary Privileges:**
- Available for providers with a clean background and an active Ohio license and DEA.
**Qualifications:**
- Board certified is preferred, but we will consider those who are board eligible within five years of finishing their residency.
- Must have an Ohio State License - REQUIRED
- Must have Ohio DEA
- REQUIRED
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- REQUIRED
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- REQUIRED - Experience with newborns - REQUIRED - Ability to read X-rays
- REQUIRED - Experience with circumcision
- REQUIRED - Experience with UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter) and UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter) is highly preferred.
**Certification Requirements:** - BLS - Board Certified - NRP

**Additional License Requirements:
** - Board eligible candidates can be considered if they finished their residency within the last five years.
